Terms of Service
Effective 2026-10-06 · Version 1.0
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of 틴트(TINNT) (the "Company") and users in connection with the use of the mobile application 콘도라 (Kondora) and related services (the "Service") provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
1. "Service" means a social app, and its additional features, in which users can talk with AI characters and enjoy role-playing chats featuring characters together with friends. 2. "User" means any member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms. 3. "Member" means a user who has signed up with an email address, a Google account, or an Apple account and holds an account. 4. "Character" means a fictional figure within the Service (e.g., Hati the shrine maiden, Baron the guardian of Kondora Forest). A character's lines and replies are generated by AI or written in advance by the Company, and characters are not real people or counselors. 5. "Friend" means a member who has mutually accepted a friend request. 6. "Public profile" means a member's name and profile information (date of birth, gender, and time of birth if entered) that are shown to other members. 7. "Beads" means an in-app unit used within the Service to receive certain content. 8. "Today's Card" means personalized content created for each day based on a member's birth information and optional answers.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
1. The Company posts these Terms on the app's Settings screen. 2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws, and will give notice in the app starting 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to users). 3. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, you are deemed to have agreed to them. Users who do not agree may stop using the Service and delete their account.
Article 4 (Membership and Accounts)
1. Sign-up is complete when you authenticate with email, Google, or Apple, enter your family name, given name, date of birth, gender, and time of birth (optional), and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. This agreement includes consent to messages being sent to an AI service for conversations with characters as described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy. Members who do not want messages sent to the AI can simply not talk to characters or call Hati, and can delete their account at any time. 2. Persons under the age of 14 may not sign up as members. The Company checks age using the date of birth entered, and if a user is found to be under 14, the Company may restrict sign-up or delete the account. 3. Members are responsible for keeping their accounts secure and may not transfer or lend them to others. 4. The Company protects members' personal information in accordance with applicable laws; details are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 5 (Content of the Service)
1. Conversations with characters: You can talk one-on-one with characters such as Hati and Baron and enjoy the characters' rituals and staged scenes, such as Hati's dance. 2. Friends: You can send friend requests to other members by email address, profile QR code, or profile share link; when the other member accepts, you become friends. 3. Friend chat and role-playing: You can chat one-on-one with friends and call a character into the chat to talk together. 4. Today's Card: You can receive a personalized card for each day (scores, advice, numbers, etc.) based on birth information such as your date, time, and place of birth and your optional answers. If you choose a time, a card is created automatically every day and you are notified by push notification; received cards are collected in the Archive and can be shared as images. 5. Birth-info profile cards and Today's Friend Index: You can view symbol cards based on your birth information, such as birthstone and birth flower, and check Today's Friend Index with your friends. 6. Additional features such as Beads, quests and titles, reporting and blocking, notifications, and sending feedback. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service as operationally or technically necessary, and will give advance notice of significant changes.
Article 6 (Nature of AI Conversations and Role-Playing)
1. Replies from characters such as Hati and Baron are generated by Google's generative AI (Gemini) or are lines written in advance by the Company, and are fictional conversations for role-playing. Replies may be inaccurate or inappropriate and are neither a guarantee of any fact nor a promise of any outcome. 2. Characters' replies do not replace professional advice, including medical, legal, financial, investment, or psychological counseling. Please consult a professional in the relevant field before making important decisions. 3. Each member can talk to characters or call Hati in friend chats up to 20 times per day in total, and the Company may adjust this limit as operationally necessary. 4. Messages are sent to the AI only when a member talks to a character or calls Hati, so a member who does not want this can simply not do so. 5. Unless there is intent or gross negligence on its part, the Company is not responsible for the consequences of actions taken by users in reliance on characters' replies.
Article 7 (Community Rules)
1. The Company does not tolerate objectionable or inappropriate content or users who harass other members. You must not send profanity, hate speech, sexual content, threats, spam, or other people's personal information, and messages containing such expressions may be blocked automatically. 2. Members can report a friend chat message (including Hati's replies) by long-pressing it, or report and block the other person from the chat room menu. Blocking ends the friendship and clears pending friend requests, and both sides can no longer send messages or friend requests to each other; you can unblock in Settings > Blocked members. 3. The Company reviews reports within 24 hours, removes content that violates the rules, and restricts the offending user's use of the Service or deletes their account.
Article 8 (User Obligations)
Users must not engage in any of the following: 1. Signing up or setting up a profile with another person's information or false information 2. Using another person's account without permission, or using another person's profile QR code, share link, or email without consent 3. Prompting a character to create unlawful content or content that harms others 4. Copying, distributing, or commercially using the Service's content, characters, videos, graphics, or text without permission 5. Circumventing or interfering with the Service's servers, network, or security 6. Any other act that violates applicable laws or these Terms If a violation is confirmed, the Company may take measures such as restricting use of the Service or deleting the account.
Article 9 (Copyright)
1. Rights to the Service and to the characters, videos, images, voices, text, and software within it belong to the Company or the rightful owners. 2. Rights to messages sent by users belong to those users, and the Company stores and delivers them to the extent necessary to provide the Service. 3. The Service includes open-source software, and the notice for each license can be found in the app or on the Company's information page.
Article 10 (Beads and Paid Services)
1. The basic features of the Service are provided free of charge, and some content, such as Today's Card, can be received by using Beads. The number of Beads required for each piece of content is shown in the app. 2. During promotion periods such as a launch celebration, the Company may provide content without limit and without deducting Beads. The details and period of a promotion are shown in the app, and the Company may change or end a promotion after giving prior notice. 3. Where the Company offers them for sale, members can purchase Beads through Apple App Store in-app purchase. The price (including VAT) and the number of Beads granted are shown on the purchase screen. Payment and payment methods are handled by Apple, and the Company grants Beads after verifying the transaction information signed by Apple. 4. Under Article 17 of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, members may request withdrawal of a purchase for unused Beads within 7 days of the purchase date. However, withdrawal is restricted under paragraph 2 of that Article for portions where provision of digital content has begun, such as Beads already used. 5. Withdrawals and refunds of in-app purchases are requested through Apple under Apple's refund policy and process (reportaproblem.apple.com). If Apple approves a refund, the Company reclaims the Beads granted by that transaction. If the Company fails to provide content for reasons attributable to it, the Company will take measures under applicable laws, such as restoring the Beads used. 6. If a minor makes a payment without the consent of a legal representative, the minor or the legal representative may cancel it under the Korean Civil Act, except in cases provided by law, such as where the minor used deception to make others believe they were an adult. Refunds resulting from cancellation are processed through Apple's process. 7. Beads cannot be exchanged for or refunded as cash or other goods (except as required by applicable laws or under Apple's refund process) and cannot be transferred or gifted to other members. Beads have no expiration date, but when you delete your account, your remaining Beads and their history are deleted and cannot be restored.
Article 11 (Account Deletion and Restrictions on Use)
1. Members can delete their account at any time with "Delete account" in Settings. When you delete your account, your profile and public profile, profile photo thumbnail stored on the server, friend list and friend requests, conversations with characters (including server copies), friend chats, block list, AI consent and call records, quest progress, Today's Cards with the Archive and automatic delivery settings, Bead balance and history, and notification settings are deleted and cannot be restored. Friend chats in which the deleted member took part are also deleted for the other person. Feedback and reports are kept after information identifying the member is removed, and in-app purchase records are kept after pseudonymization, for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy. 2. For security, account deletion is processed only if you have signed in recently, and for members who signed in with Apple, the link to the Apple account is also revoked upon deletion. 3. If a user violates these Terms or has not used the Service for one year or more, the Company may, after prior notice, make the account dormant or delete it.
Article 12 (Suspension of the Service and Limitation of Liability)
1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for unavoidable reasons such as maintenance, outages, natural disasters, or interruptions of third-party services such as Apple or Google, and will give advance notice where possible. 2. Unless there is intent or gross negligence on its part, the Company is not liable for damages in connection with the Service provided free of charge. For Beads purchased for a fee, the Company is liable in accordance with applicable laws and Article 10. 3. The Service's content is provided "as is," and the Company does not guarantee its accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Calculated content such as Today's Card, profile cards, and Today's Friend Index is provided for entertainment and should not be used as a basis for important decisions.
Article 13 (Notifications)
The Company may send friend requests and acceptances, new chat messages (including the sender's name, profile photo and a message preview), notices that Today's Card has arrived at the time the member chose (including the member's name), and service announcements as in-app notifications or push notifications. You can turn off automatic delivery of Today's Card in the app and push notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. However, this does not exclude the application of mandatory laws of the user's country of residence that provide more favorable protection. 2. Parties will first try to resolve any dispute by contacting support@tinnt.app; if it is not resolved, a lawsuit may be filed with the competent court. 3. These Terms were written in Korean, and if there is any discrepancy between the Korean version and a translation, the Korean version prevails.
